    This privacy policy applies to all Devnzo services including InstaFeed, a Shopify application that connects merchant social media accounts (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok) to display content on their Shopify storefront.

    1. What information do we collect?

    Personal & technical data

    Personal information you disclose to us

    We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us when you register on the Website or use our Services.

    The personal information we collect may include:

    • Names, email addresses, phone numbers
    • Job titles and company names
    • Shopify store URL and store ID

    Social Media Account Data (InstaFeed)

    When you connect your social media accounts through InstaFeed, we collect:

    From Instagram and Facebook:

    • Instagram Business Account ID
    • Facebook Page ID and Page name
    • Access tokens (stored encrypted)
    • Video and reel metadata (URLs, captions, timestamps, thumbnails)
    • Basic profile information (username, profile picture)

    From TikTok:

    • TikTok User ID
    • Access tokens (stored encrypted)
    • Video metadata (URLs, captions, timestamps, thumbnails)
    • Basic profile information (username, profile picture)

    What we do NOT collect:

    • Your social media passwords
    • Private messages or DMs
    • Financial information
    • Your followers' personal data
    • Customer data from your Shopify store

    Information automatically collected

    We automatically collect certain technical information when you visit or use our Services including IP address, browser characteristics, device information, operating system, and usage data.

    2. How do we use your information?

    We use the information we collect to:

    • Connect your Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok accounts to your Shopify storefront
    • Fetch your social media videos and reels periodically
    • Display your social media content on your Shopify storefront
    • Sync your feed to keep storefront content fresh
    • Send important app notifications and updates
    • Provide customer support
    • Comply with legal obligations

    We use Meta Platform data strictly to provide and improve InstaFeed's features. We do not use Meta user data to train AI or machine learning models. We do not sell Meta user data to third parties.

    3. Meta Platform Data & Instagram API

    Meta & Instagram

    InstaFeed uses the Meta Graph API and Instagram API to access merchant Instagram and Facebook account data.

    By connecting your Instagram or Facebook account to InstaFeed, you authorize us to:

    • Read your Instagram Business account profile and media
    • Access the list of Facebook Pages you manage
    • Read content posted by your Facebook Page
    • Access video and reel URLs for display purposes

    We access only the minimum data necessary to provide our service. We comply with Meta's Platform Terms and Developer Policies available at: https://developers.facebook.com/terms/

    Token Storage and Security:

    • All access tokens are encrypted using industry-standard AES-256 encryption
    • Tokens are stored on secure servers
    • We proactively refresh tokens before expiry
    • Tokens are immediately deleted when you disconnect your account

    Meta Data Restrictions:

    We do not use Meta platform data to:

    • Discriminate against users
    • Make eligibility decisions (credit, insurance, etc.)
    • Conduct surveillance
    • Build profiles for advertising purposes
    • Sell, license or transfer data to third parties

    4. TikTok API Data

    TikTok

    InstaFeed uses the TikTok API to access merchant TikTok account data.

    By connecting your TikTok account to InstaFeed, you authorize us to:

    • Read your TikTok profile information
    • Access your TikTok video list and metadata
    • Display your TikTok videos on your Shopify storefront

    We comply with TikTok's Developer Terms of Service available at: https://developers.tiktok.com/terms/

    5. Will your information be shared?

    Sharing

    We only share information with your consent, to comply with laws, to provide you with services, to protect your rights, or to fulfill business obligations.

    We share data with these third party services:

    • Meta (Facebook/Instagram) — Social media API access
    • TikTok — Social media API access
    • Shopify — Storefront integration
    • Amazon Web Services (AWS) — Cloud hosting
    • Google Analytics & Tag Manager — Usage analytics
    • Sentry — Error monitoring
    • Crisp Chat — Customer support
    • Postmark/Resend — Email delivery

    We do NOT sell your personal data or Meta platform data to any third parties.

    6. How long do we keep your data?

    Retention

    We retain your data for as long as your InstaFeed subscription is active.

    Upon uninstalling InstaFeed or disconnecting your social accounts:

    • Access tokens are deleted immediately
    • Video metadata is deleted within 30 days
    • Account connection records are deleted within 30 days

    Meta platform data is retained only as long as necessary to provide our service and is deleted upon account disconnection or app uninstall.

    You have the right to:

    • Access your personal data
    • Request correction of inaccurate data
    • Request deletion of your data
    • Disconnect your social media accounts at any time
    • Revoke our access to your Instagram/Facebook/TikTok data at any time through those platforms' settings

    8. How do we handle social logins?

    Social logins

    We offer login via Google, GitHub, and other providers. We only receive name, email, and profile picture as allowed by your settings. We are not responsible for how those providers handle your data.

    For Instagram and Facebook connections specifically, we use OAuth 2.0 authorization. We never receive or store your social media passwords.

    9. How do we keep your data safe?

    Security

    We implement the following security measures:

    • AES-256 encryption for all stored access tokens
    • Encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS)
    • Access controls and authentication
    • Regular security monitoring and audits
    • Automatic token refresh and expiry management

    No transmission over the internet is 100% secure. You use our Services at your own risk.

    10. Do we collect data from minors?

    Minors

    We do not knowingly collect data from or market to children under 18 years of age. If we learn we have collected data from a minor, we will delete it immediately. Contact us at contact@devnzo.com if you believe this has occurred.

    Updates

    We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by an updated "Last updated" date. We encourage you to review this privacy policy frequently.
